Design development of a pilot collection of linen shirt samples comprising 35 styles using a variety of linen fabrics from companies in Northern Ireland, Poland, Finland and China with novel finishes (prints/ embroideries / natural dying etc.) created in collaboration with Irish and Welsh textile makers. (Linen Futures Exhibitions 2015, 2016 & 2018)

Curated by Jane McCann, this collaborative exhibition celebrated craft and design practice based on the past, current and future landscape of Irish linen. Ten textile-oriented practitioners in Northern Ireland and ten Celtic neighbours in Wales embraced past heritage and modern style, developing novel techniques and customization including felt making, embroidery, natural dying and digital finishes.
